Registration Information for south Pasadena middle school (2011-2012)

New Students:


To register new students to SPUSD (Grades 6, 7 or 8) for the 2011-2012 school year, please contact the Middle School Registrar at (626) 441-5830, Ex. 3908 or by email at lparkhill@fc.spusd.net. Registration is by appointment only. You must reside in South Pasadena and have three proofs of residency (see below) at the time of registration.  Registration must be completed by the parent or legal guardian of the student.  Parents with students at more than one school must register and show proof of residency at each site.

 

Returning Students:

 

In an effort to ensure a smooth and efficient opening of the 2011-2012 school year, South Pasadena Middle School will be holding it's annual Registration on August 17, 18 and 19 (See the round-up schedule at the bottom of this page). This year, the district will not be requiring proof of residency at Registration.

 

Registration packets will be mailed in early July, 2011. Please review all of the registration documents and sign a "District Acknowledgment Form" found in the packet to verify that you have read the documents.  We will also have copies to review at the time of Registration.

 

Included in the packet is a “Student Profile” sheet.  It contains student information such as phone numbers, email and home addresses.  Please review the form carefully and note any changes prior to registration so that we can accurately update our files. 

 

Please bring your completed documents from the registration packet. Some important items to note:

o        The District Acknowledgment Form. Please read the District forms found at www.spusd.net and sign the form found in your packet. In addition to the hard copy found in this packet, forms can in found in the school office (After August 3rd) and at registration. This process saves the district from printing over 45,000 pages of paper!

o        Remember to bring your checkbook. Yearbooks, Agendas, P.E. shirts/shorts, school supplies, and locks will be available for purchase.

o        Please fill out your order form, emergency information, and P.T.A. registration forms.

o        PTA, SPEF, Wish Night and Booster Club will be represented.

·         Monday, August 23 : 8th grade

o        Students with last name A-G:   8:30 AM   – 10:00 AM

o        Students with last name H-M:  10:00 AM – 11:30 AM

o        Students with last name N-U :  1:00 PM     2:15 PM

o        Students with last name V-Z :   2:15 PM   – 3:30 PM

 

·         Tuesday, August 24: 7th Grade        

o        Students with last name A-G:   8:30 AM   – 10:00 AM

o        Students with last name H-M:  10:00 AM – 11:30 AM

o        Students with last name N-U :  1:00 PM     2:15 PM

o        Students with last name V-Z :   2:15 PM   – 3:30 PM

 

·         Wednesday, August 25: 6th Grade

o        Students with last name A-G:   8:30 AM   – 10:00 AM

o        Students with last name H-M:  10:00 AM – 11:30 AM

o        Students with last name N-U :  1:00 PM     2:15 PM

o        Students with last name V-Z :   2:15 PM   – 3:30 PM
